The concept of Amma Vodi is to provide destitute women a chance to live like a family with all the members living in harmony, sharing their joys and sorrows.

Amma Vodi is equipped with all the essential services and amenities needed for the overall development of the women inmates: Physical, Social, Emotional and Spiritual.

This labour of love wouldn't have of course been possible without the selfless contribution and sincere material and spiritual support from people of all walks of life across continents.

Financial Support

In the financial front, donations of any amount are accepted.

There is a special scheme to facilitate your participation. You can be a member of Amma Vodi by contributing a sum of Rs 2000. This amount shall be credited to the corpus fund of the organization and Annadanam (Food distribution) is done on the date chosen by you. The interest on this amount will be utilized for feeding the inmates. The birthdays of your family members, kith and kin or friends can be piously celebrated by choosing a date for each of them and taking membership in their name. The annual ceremony dates of the parents also can be chosen for this purpose because feeding the needy on such dates will definitely add merit to the departed souls. The names of the donors will be displayed at the prominent place. You may also chose to become Sasvatha (Permanent) member for Amma Vodi. Please contact the office for further details.

You can also donate any amount you like which will be utilized for the maintenance, food and health expenses of inmates.

All contributions to Amma Vodi receive exemption u/s 80G of IT Act.

Voluntary service

Suitable volunteers to assist the activities of the organization in the office, kitchen, garden etc are also welcome. Chosen volunteers shall be provided optimal lodging and boarding facilities.

Volunteering medical services in coordination with the existing hospital are also welcome.
